VIRGINIA LOUISE HAYSLETTE Virginia Louise Hayslette, age 88, of War, WV, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, Tennessee. Born July 18, 1930 in Yukon, WV she was the daughter of the late Naida Allison and Sam Henry Hockett. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Hayslette; one son, Robert E. Johnson and one infant daughter, Naida Louise Johnson She is survived by two daughters, Naida Dell Hayslette of the home, and Cara Hockett Mays and husband Chuck of London, KY; one brother, Sam Worix and wife Shirley of Alexandria, VA; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She loved God with her whole heart. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 12 noon from the Advent Christian Church in War Cove with the Pastor Danny Cyphers officiating. Burial will follow at the Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Va. Friends may call at the church from 11 am until 12 noon. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The Douglas Mortuary in Welch is serving the Hayslette family.
