Mary Jane McPeak, 67, of Davy passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Ky. Born February 2, 1950 in Welch she was the daughter of the late Andy Green and Myrtle Alberty Green. She was a homemaker and a member of the Davy Pentecostal Full Gospel Church, Davy. She was devoted to her family, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paris Daniel McPeak; a daughter, Donna Lynn McPeak; two brothers, Timmy and Steve Green; four sisters, Ellen Lambert, Betty Mitchell, Janet Johnson and Lois Mitchell; and a sister-in-law, Patsy Blankenship. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving son, Richard McPeak of Davy; three brothers, Rex Green of Twin Branch, and Kermit and Russell Green both of Davy; two sisters, Margie Ramey of Chicago, IL and Beatrice Lester of Davy; brothers-in-law Eddie McPeak and Larry Dean “Rick” McPeak both of Chicago; 3 grandchildren, Robert Brian Keaton of Hemphill, and Brittany Nicole McPeak and Casandra McPeak of Big Sandy. 4 great grandchildren, Daniel Lee Keaton, Jeremy Keaton, Carter Keaton and Brooke Ratliff. Funeral service will be held Monday, April 3, at 11 a.m. in the Davy Pentecostal Full Gospel Church with the Revs. Marie and Jack Bolden officiating. Burial will follow in Thompson Cemetery at Big Jenny. Friends may call at the church after 6 p.m. Sunday. The Douglas Mortuary of Welch is serving the McPeak family.
