HAROLD "JUNIOR" BISHOP JR.

July 27, 1956 - January 19, 2021

Harold “Junior” Bishop ,64, of Hemphill went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown with his family by his side. Born July 27, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio he was the son of the late Harold Bishop Sr. and Juanita Bishop. He was a retired truck driver with the Department of Highways, and was a member of the Trinity Temple Pentecostal Holiness Church in Welch. He loved to ride horses, and was devoted to his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Linda Brady Bishop of the home; a son, Johnithan Bishop of Hemphill; a daughter, Joanna Clemins and special son-in-law Brian Clemins of Hemphill; Grandsons, Lil John Bishop, Jacob Clemins, and Brian Clemins Jr. and wife Alexis; two granddaughters Bryna Clemins and Destiny Clemins; a great grandson Brian Keith Clemins III; three brothers, Darrell Bishop and Linda of Gary, and James Bishop and Dempsey Bishop of North Carolina; two sisters, Rita Robinette and husband Tommy, and Bonita “Yvonne” Bishop of North Carolina; and a host of nieces and nephews. Junior had two special friends of a lifetime, Linda and Toby Belcher of Hemphill. Funeral service will be conducted Monday, January 25, at 12 Noon from the Trinity Temple Pentecostal Holiness Church in Welch with Pastor Dan Pruitt officiating. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell. Friends may call at the church Monday from 10 A.M. until service time at Noon. Pallbearers will be Johnithan Bishop, Lil John Bishop, Jacob Clemins, Brian Clemins, Bobo Rose, and David “Bubby” Mullins. Services will be held in accordance with Covic-19 guidelines, masks are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced. Group size must be held to 25 people or less.
