Allen Curtis Whitt, 66, of War, WV, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton. Born February 22, 1954 in Welch he was the son of the late Sidney Harold Whitt and Bessie Irene Baird Whitt. Allen was a former coal miner. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Mary Kiser Whitt of the home; son, Walker A. Whitt of Newton, NC; daughter, Brandy I. Whitt of Claremont, NC; son, Kristopher M. Whitt of Conover, NC; step-daughter, Carolyn M. Matney of Ocala, FL; one brother, Paul David Whitt and wife Cathy of War; four sisters, Connie Carr of War, Rachel Rabic of War, Lee Ellen Hawley of Portage, MI and Dana Kay Akers of Hillsville VA; and ten grandchildren. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 11 AM from the Advent Christian Church in War Cove with the Pastor Danny Cyphers officiating. Services will be held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, masks are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced. Group size must be held to 25 people or less.
